Ms. Mae Ooi has over 20 years of experience in international sales and marketing, microbiological involvement, and the development of biological methods in pest control for agricultural usage. She is currently the Sales Director of Mentari Alam Eko (M) Sdn Bhd, which provides state of the art technology in food waste composting solutions contributing to the circular economy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She has been invited as a speaker in many waste-related forums and seminars, including being a panel at the National Waste Management Conference. She believes in the collective effort in creating a “Zero Waste” environment by adopting responsible waste management.
